Was Elvis Presley a nice person? Some say yes others say no. There has always been debate about Elvis and his authenticity when he stated that he was always trying to do right. He came off as different to be sure, but no one knew what to quite make of him when he decided to turn into a nice rebel idol. It wasn't just that he was trying to stand out of the crowd, he was doing so in a manner which was very different and raw. He wanted to flow with the music, show off some dance moves which he might have gotten off Vernon or any of the other bush dancers, and he wanted to be a little untamed - this caused uproar. He was considered too crude for television which wanted to showcase professional acts, he was regarded as a show off farm-boy - a good mix which got him in and out of tuxes, but which also gave him bad celebrity. One of his first model stints was a showcase of out of control teen passion in the back of a studio - if it had been set up it was because he was to be turned into Mr Wild E Coyote. However it didn't come off as wild as in his move in Jail House rock, and some could say he was 'a stiff act'.

But was he as stiff as his act suggested? People say he was and he wasn't - it really depended on the season. When he was in a vengeful mood he could turn into a rapist, when he was in the relaxed mood he could turn into Mr Solitude, when he was in a hating mood he could turn psychotic and hang onto guns as though they were wishing wands. He was a mix of indecent mood swings, and this gave him bad rapport. Sure he could be nice, but there was always something behind his thought which could make him turn into anything else - this made him dangerous.

In the beginning Elvis was a celebrity with a community cult - they loved him, females fantasied about him, and he was everything that they could cherish. It didn't matter who he was, they were in awe of the person who he could be and who he could never be. However they were in a trance - as soon as Elvis began to hit big stage and screen there was distortion, and soon everyone was drugged on the celebrity of Elvis Presley - the good and bad. This led to hysteria which was not all staged at all. The world couldn't believe the hit in someone who was so base-class. People began to turn their heads, and if the screen was smoked they would never see the drugs in the celebrity they most admired and whose tone paved the way to success.

As soon as Elvis began to rise in his celebrity he showcased awkward looks. No one minded much - they were new to the television, and they just figured it was the angle, the spirit, the demon inside of Elvis who changed the image. However he was a distortion and sometimes he lost fans because of it. When fans wanted to see Mr Sleek they saw Mr Hot-steam - he was a celebrity with decent looks, but they were shadowed by good filming and good timing.

When Elvis was sent into the military he was lit up as an out of control figure. Sure he stood still and in form, however he didn't think still. His passiveness only held on for so long before he tried to do something to get him out of his fixes. Some say he ran away from the war and was body doubled by someone who looked like a twin brother, others say the media broke his celebrity up and filmed body doubles which lost him his true celebrity, and others still say when he wanted to get away he walked and after he got into trouble he was returned to the old world in one piece.

Everyone thought Elvis was an outrage and his celebrity status was never covered up when in the military. He was given special private rooms and in them he cried until he was given a clap on the back. However he was not just adored - the people around him knew he was not the kind to measure up not even when they smiled his way. In the end the army categorised him as unsuitable for the army and he was thrown out as a drugged up rebel.

Elvis's rebel status was showcased on the Frank Sinatra show when he was seen as a demure nice young man with a slender figure - however his hair was all puffy and as soon as he danced and sang everyone could see that he was still being shown as a rebel as his hair strands were rocked out of place. Elvis's eyes were lazy, his moves were still too raw for real celebrity, and when he did something or said something everyone wanted to scream he was on drugs. He was still the rebel, and his acts were all show.

Back at home Elvis was filled with steam and relax. He felt so much better no longer n the army, however he still wanted to do something to shake up the old home town. So he did a few drugs, he sang, and then he did movies. His movies were usually let downs, and more often then not he was passed when given chance for a decent drama. He was forced into comedy where he came off as a stiff and rigid nice person who was a little military and silly. This made him a good hit - however the real crash was when he chose to live with someone half of his age and who he had brought home from Germany. He was suddenly and Anti-American and more importantly he was a child molester, and in all of his films from then on he was shown being cushy with people who were kids.

Elvis began to work really hard through the 70's. He was no longer about raping young women or kissing fans, he was more about drugs. He was frequently drugged, and that made people worry. However he managed to last a good ten years on drugs, before he began to crash on them. Near the end of the 1970's Elvis was said to have looked for a job, and when he applied the managers gave him the thumbs down. No one knows if it were his celebrity, his resume, or his interview - but in the community it was rumoured that he was unable to work because the people around him didn't approve. So Elvis was left to rely on his singing, and that was when he got his big break in a live Hawaii special.

The stage show on Hawaii was part of a gruelling showcase of stage shows. He did the Hawaii gig before he moved on to do a range of other live shows. He performed everywhere, and by the end he was a multimillionaire.

Elvis was moody and depressed, and more often then not he walked away from his live-in girlfriend to hang out with people, guns, women, and burgers. When he came home he didn't want to sit - he was moody blue, and that was when everyone just about had enough of Elvis.

However then Elvis landed a couple of movies which earned him fans and blasting criticism. Elvis Presley was a wash out as an actor, but a good act to watch when on screen. The mixture was chaotic for Elvis's morale, and he walked away from movies with a bag of ice on his brow. Elvis had had enough facing critics and being let down - the critics hurt his ego, and the movies hurt his health; he wanted to quit - he didn't want to be the star any more when he wasn't ever being told that he was doing a good job. So Elvis decided to marry - despite have a flame for Anne Margaret Elvis ended up proposing to his live-in girlfriend Priscilla when in Las Vegas, and they married; immediately the fans dropped and Elvis rolled his eyes and slammed his bedroom door closed.

Married Elvis Presley was a big bomb - he grew fat and ugly, and his health bombed. Rather then grow happy on his marriage, Elvis grew depressed in a more destructive way - he took drugs and lots of them, and he even inserted needles when he was in an extra bad mood; this gave him awkward looks which ballooned his weight up to the size of a mammoth - Elvis Presley grew big and loud, and then he grew out spoken when he tried to pick up on the fan-hood of Nixon-like personality. His fans flocked and fled, and so did Elvis - he literally ran when his shows were done.

Elvis was said to have grown into a rock, and at home he hated the world and what it was. He wanted to leave, and when he left he went to the bathroom where he took his pills, did his drugs, and read his porn magazines. He was said to be a high schizophrenic creature and his personality seemed deranged, he was dangerous to the people around him and when he wasn't singing he was the bomb - he sucked and his relationships fizzled. Elvis grew more depressed and one morning when he had pushed himself through some tennis, reading, and grapefruit eating, he had a heart attack - and the rebel fell to his grave with his teeth cutting his famous tongue in half, his singing and acting career was through.
