Pearl rolled her eyes to Greg as he sat on his side of the car. They were unable to talk to each other, the date had grown cold as ice ever since Greg had discovered she had herpes in the right spot. Pearl hadn't wanted to make a big deal out of it - she often just hid the herpes under her pubic hair; most guys never even noticed that she had something down there and they usually smiled when they were through with their taste test.

“Can I go home now?” asked Pearl as she grew a bead of stiff upset.

“Walk;” muttered Greg as he continued to stare out of the window.

“I don't want to walk, drive me!” gasped Pearl as she fast grew a flush of hot anger.

Greg turned his head as though he had once been frozen to the bone. Pearl glared at Greg as he leered at her like a mummy.

“I will never drive you;” he muttered in a crisp tone that was quiet but sharp. “Not now, not ever!” he added before he turned his head away.

Pearl wanted to slap Greg in the head, however she ignored her anger, snatched her purse, and stormed out of the car door.

“It is just a case of herpes Greg!” she cried out as she narrowed her eyes. “You will probably get it later on anyway!” she added.

Pearl walk away from Greg and headed down the street. She was upset, and she marched on her upset as she grimaced to herself. She couldn't believe Greg had reacted like such a baby when he had seemed like a pretty decent young man. Pearl steamed like a steam engine as she trekked down the street and across another. She wasn't sure where she was, but she was sure she could find her way as long as she walked in the right direction; home was never far away in a little home town as where they lived - all a person needed to know was where the sun rose and sank and they would always be able to find home.

Pearl walked forever. At every step she blamed Greg for having had tricked her into allowing him to get sexual. Pearl wanted to feel a broken heart, but all she wanted to do was hate. She was a human being, and yes she did have herpes - but Greg didn't have to throw off the date as he sulked like a baby who needed a play-pen! Pearl grit her teeth and stormed forward on heels that felt like daggers on the soles of her feet.

“I hate walking!” gasped Pearl as she continued to knit her brows. “And I hate stupid silly Greg!” she added.

Pearl felt unclean and she tried to think what she should have said when Greg told her he wanted to give her some oral. Perhaps she should have said 'no', perhaps she should have said 'maybe some other time', or perhaps she should have said 'she had herpes'. On all accounts she could see Gregs face and it looked stupid and fat as he brooded.

“I should date someone else!” vented Pearl as she kicked a stone so that it rolled into the gutter. “Anyone else would be better then him;” she added before she shrugged.

Pearl walked into her house and met her father Henry who stared at her with a long expression. Pearl knew what was on his mind - she was home late and he wanted to scold. However Pearl was in no mood to be scolded; she felt out of sorts and she began to hate Henry who had hot temper behind his mind.

“I hate a bad date;” began Pearl before her father could open his mouth.

“Really? It is eleven pm, I am sure it couldn't have been that bad;” told Henry as he glared.

“It was! I had to walk home!” gasped Pearl.

“Why?” asked Henry as he simmered on his temper.

“Greg and I had a fight and he told me he didn't want to see me again;” told Pearl as sweat poured down her face.

“Then you will never see him again;” told Henry in a calm and sedate manner. “If you date a boy again you are to ensure you get home by nine;” he said. “That way you can complete homework and studies and go to bed in a healthy time-frame;” he added.

“I will be sure to pick someone nice!” gasped Pearl before she moved to pass Henry. “Or I may wait for college;” she hummed.

“Choose wisely;” muttered Henry before he lost interest.

“Oh I will!” gasped Pearl before she stepped inside of her bedroom.

Pearl looked at herself in the mirror - she looked like a wreck! She scolded herself behind her eyes, and then she moved to strip her clothes off. She hated Greg, and she decided that she would seek out a better person. However a person was hard to find - most guys were practically married to their school sweethearts and it was hard to find the single ones. Pearl shrugged.

“College will have heaps of singles;” she muttered. “Then I will find a Mr Right;” she declared. “After all I can't be home late when I live on college campus in one of the dorms!” she said before she grinned. “The the world will be right one day, and I will be able to get over silly Greg;” she said with a nod before she moved to have a shower.
