The Garden Of Eden Copyright all rights reserved to Monica Pereira 2013 Smashwords Edition There was once a garden and it was called 'the garden of Eden'. It was mentioned in the bible called Genesis. This bible told that the first humans were created by God. God then made his humans a garden to live, and it was called Eden. Eden was to the East, and in it man was told to do anything but eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God then placed a cherbim with a flaming sword and told it to guard the tree of life. In the end Eve ate an apple and God banished Eve and Adam. This same garden was also mentioned in the Ezekiel scriptures. Ezekiel was actually that son of man and he told that the King of Tyre had been placed in Eden on the holy mountain with a cherub who guarded the garden and who was also eaten by God's fire. God said to the cherub 'all nations who knew you are appalled at you, you have come to a horrible end and will be no more;' Trees and water were a prominent landmark of this particular garden. According to Ezekiel the garden was in Lebanon. It was a Phoenician myth and it was connected with the forests of Lebanon and a mountain sanctuary. According to Genesis the river 'flowed out of Eden and divided into four rivers - Pishon which flowed around Havilah the land of gold; Gihon which flowed around the land of Cush; Tigris which flowed east of Assyria; and also Euphrates. Cush was said to have been Ethiopia, and Pishon was said to have been the Nile. According to David Rohl the garden sat in Azerbaijan, Iran, near Tabriz. This garden was near the Sahand volcano which was also located in Tabriz. He has said that the geography matched the bible reference. Finally the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (ie Mormons) have declared that the garden was actually located far from the Middle East in Jackson County Missouri USA. However most people have declared that this particular religion wanted to base their faith in America because their faith had been founded in America, and had no true connection with biblical texts due to the fact that nothing in the bible had been written to signify life in America. According to my own research there could have been two gardens - one which had been made for God, the other which had been made for the children of God. The first garden would have been located in Baingoin. It would have stretch from Siling Co to Nam Co. It would have been an older garden which had been made some time before the second garden. It would have smaller then the second garden as well. The second garden would have been located Xinjiang and stretched from Kashgar to Bayingol. This would have been the garden where the rivers actually met as they fell into a moat that circled the garden. However away from these regions the garden may have also been created on a lush spot in Belaris. Coming from a mythical scale the garden could have also have been the place where the 'lady of the lake' lived. She lived in the Isle of Avalon where people visited to be cured of their ails. The lady apparently laid herself down and where her hair stretched was where the garden began. When King Arthur died it was said that he was taken to the Isle of Avalon to be mended, and that he may return. In Jewish faith it was believed that history was going to complete itself when mankind returned to the garden. There Eden would grow again and be luxurious. God would once again meet every one of his sons and daughters and he would then lead them into a dance. Heaven would exist with the family reunited and there would be peace. However most agree that the garden which once had been in existence dried up and was buried under sand or turned into dry earth, and that no one will know where it was or what once grew there. When God banished Adam and Eve from his garden it is possible he actually banished the water. God had always been connected with the clouds and when he banished the water the lush garden fell apart and crumbled until it looked like dirt. When Adam and Eve walked away it was with sand under their toes because there was no more lush green. God had turned the world into a desert and on its hot face the two banished humans walked until their feet turned blistered. They were forced to walk a long way or else die in the desert; and so the two walked, and eventually they managed to find what they needed - a place to bring up humanity which was not protected by God or located anywhere near the destroyed Garden Of Eden.
